Gli ARCH ENEMY hanno reso pubblico oggi il primo singolo estratto dal nuovo “Will To Power”, in uscita l’8 settembre 2017 su Century Media Records. Per presentare la nuova “The World Is Yours” è stato appositamente realizzato un video, diretto da Patric Ullaeus.
Di seguito il commento del chitarrista e mastermind Michael Amott:
“Abbiamo lavorato duramente per la realizzazione del nuovo album e ora siamo orgogliosi di presentarvi il primo assaggio della nuova musica degli Arch Enemy, il primo singolo dopo oltre tre anni, ‘The World Is Yours’! Questa è stata la prima canzone che ho scritto per il nuovo album ‘Will To Power’ assieme a Daniel (Erlandsson, batteria). L’album è stato registrato nel sud della Svezia e mixato da Jens Bogren, il quale ha fatto un lavoro più che fantastico a livello di mix e master. Penso che ‘Will To Power’ sia decisamente più epico e solido del precedente ‘War Eternal’. Gli addetti ai lavori che hanno già sentito questo brano in particolare lo hanno già proclamato come un inno in perfetto stile Arch Enemy. Non vediamo l’ora di proporlo dal vivo!”

La band sarà in Italia questa estate il 7 agosto 2017 al Festival Di Majano, a Majano, in compagnia di Amon Amarth.
“Will To Power” promises to be the ultimate statement of heavy metal supremacy and will mark the first album the band have recorded with their current line-up — ALISSA WHITE-GLUZ (Vocals), MICHAEL AMOTT (Guitars), JEFF LOOMIS (Guitars), SHARLEE D’ANGELO (Bass), and DANIEL ERLANDSSON (Drums). The album was co-produced by AMOTT and ERLANDSSON, while being mixed and mastered by Jens Bogren.
Following the immense critical acclaim from their anthem-laden triumph of 2014, “War Eternal”, ARCH ENEMY will continue to bring their thunderous live performances to fans worldwide on the “Will To Power 2017 International Tour” this fall, followed by a busy summer making appearances across the European festival market. The first leg of the tour will stretch across Eastern Europe from September 15 to October 11 with direct support from Jinjer. Further dates across Europe and North America are soon to be revealed.
