I death metallers KATAKLYSM hanno da poco pubblicato il nuovo album “Meditations”, su Nuclear Blast Records. Un regalo per i fan è il bonus DVD del nuovo disco. Il live DVD è stato filmato a Monaco, Germania durante il tour “A Moment in Time” il 21 Ottobre 2017.
La band ha lanciato il live clip ufficiale del brano “The Resurrected”, tratto dal DVD. In origine la canzone era la seconda del disco “Serenity in Fire”.
Il DVD include le performance di due classici album della band, “Shadows & Dust” e “Serenity in Fire” suonati per intero. Il concerto è stato ripreso da diverse telecamere e registrato di fronte a una sala gremita di fan arrivati da tutto il mondo. Mixato dal chitarrista JF Dagenais, il DVD comprende anche interviste con i membri della band che raccontano del tour speciale e del nuovo album “Meditations”.

Le dieci canzoni sono state prodotte dal chitarrista J-F Dagenais e dal batterista Oli Beaudoin, mentre del mixaggio si è occupato Jay Ruston (ANTHRAX, STONE SOUR, ecc.). La masterizzazione è stata curata da Paul Logus (PANTERA e altri). L’artwork è stato creato da Ocvlta Designs di Surtsey, che si era già occupato della copertina del cd precedente. dei KATAKLYSM, “Of Ghosts And Gods”.
