Come sempre i Vanexa scrivono un brano con una tematica sociale. Con il loro nuovo brano “My Grave” trattano un tema molto delicato: la violenza domestica. Troppo spesso le mure di casa diventano “La mia Tomba” (My Grave), dove proprio colui che dovrebbe proteggerti diventa l’aguzzino. Il protagonista adolescente, a causa dei costanti abusi subiti, si rifugia nel suo mondo come fosse un videogioco.
Incapace di ribellarsi e non osando intervenire rinuncia all’occasione di diventare come il suo eroe preferito. Ciò che non abbiamo osato, lo abbiamo per sempre perduto.

As always, the latest Vanexa song is about social matters.
Their new single “My Grave” deals with the delicate subject of domestic violence. The grave can often consist in house walls, between which women suffer episodes of violence while children are unaware witnesses. The protagonist are therefore those kids who, despite having suspects of violence, are afraid to act losing the chance to be the hero just like in their favorite videogame. What we don’t dare to do is forever lost.
