BREATH OF NIBIRU was formed in 2012 by solo guitar legend Gianluca Ferro (Bouncing The Ocean, Doomsword, Time Machine) and progressive metal drummer Nick Pierce (Unearth, The Faceless, Culling the Weak). This duo blends complex time signatures and heavy groove in to one crushing package, their extremely diverse writing and conceptual approach to flow makes for a cutting edge listening experience. Breath of Nibiru’s newest album “Skyline Bazaar” unveils territory in the metal genre previously unexplored. From Gianluca’s technically astounding solos to Pierce’s drum and bass influenced groove, there’s never a dull moment from start to finish. Much of the albums foundation is backed by pocket groove and laced with synths and solos that would make this duo sound not from this Earth. Each track is meticulously crafted to a theme that alway keeps the listener on their toes. Packed with dynamic and epic song structures, “Skyline Bazaar” is as progressive as it is punishing.
From the beginning of Breath of Nibiru there was never a set musical direction or genre to fulfill with the music. By writing as much as possible they discovered their strengths and harnessed each others musical ability to elaborate and expand ideas. Over time the progressive approach the duo had to writing spawned unique song structures which embraced spacey themes and otherworldly atmospheres. Midway through the writing of “Skyline Bazaar” they found their niche in focusing songs around synths and grooves to create an almost “cinematic” experience throughout each track. To them each song had to be formulated to represent a visual experience just as much as an audible one.

The Italian melodic power metal band KALIDIA just released a music video for “Circe’s Spell”, the third single from their new album “The Frozen Throne”.
“The Frozen Throne” will be released on November 23rd via Inner Wound Recordings. The album will be available on CD, digital and as an exclusive black wooden box edition, limited to 250 hand-numbered copies.
Inspired by classic power metal bands like Rhapsody of Fire, Hammerfall and Stratovarius as well as new bands like Beast In Black, Kalidia have created an uplifting melodic power metal album with the roots in classic power metal with a modern and fresh touch.
“The Frozen Throne” was produced, recorded and mixed by Lars Rettkowitz [Freedom Call], mastered by Achim Köhler [Primal Fear, Amon Amarth, Brainstorm] and the cover artwork was created by Stan W. Decker [Vanden Plas, Primal Fear].

I THE SCARS IN PNEUMA (“πνεύμα”, un termine che in greco antico significa “respiro”, “aria”, “soffio vitale”) sono una nuova black metal band con base a Brescia.
Il gruppo pubblicherà il proprio debut album su Promethean Fire / Kolony Records nei primi mesi del 2019. Il disco è una raccolta di composizioni dall’effetto immaginifico che spesso travalicano i confini fra black, death e melodic death-doom metal.

I THE SCARS IN PNEUMA hanno inizialmente preso vita come progetto solista di Lorenzo Marchello (voce / chitarre / basso) all’inizio del 2017, per poi diventare una band a tutti gli effetti quando Francesco Lupi (chitarre) e Daniele Valseriati (batteria) hanno offerto il proprio contributo nel corso del medesimo anno.
Come accennato in precedenza, musicalmente i THE SCARS IN PNEUMA propongono una propria visione del black metal, a volte definibile come un mix di black metal, death metal e spunti doom, spesso dominata da un melodico lavoro di chitarra e da un velo di epicità. Fra le principali influenze e punti di riferimento sono citabili Dissection, Mgła, Be’lakor, Rotting Christ, Forgotten Tomb, Blut Aus Nord, Emperor.
A livello lirico, i THE SCARS IN PNEUMA trattano tematiche come il confronto con i propri demoni interiori, i rimpianti della vita, lo scorrere del tempo, la perdita dei propri cari.

The British Melodic Hard Rock band TEN unveiled today the new music video from their brand new (14th) studio album entitled “Illuminati”, which was released on the 9th of November, 2018 via Frontiers Records.
Hot on the heels of last year’s “Gothica”, UK hard rock stalwarts TEN/Gary Hughes are returning with a new album, “Illuminati”! The album promises to be one of the hallmarks of their 22+ years career, where fans will easily spot all the trademark textures and flavours they have come to expect from TEN, with a consistent and solid spark of creativity throughout. “Illuminati” continues to build upon the rich legacy that the great British rockers have established in their 20+ year career.

THE SELFISH CALES were born in Turin in 2010, thanks to some fortunate meetings on Myspace between Garage/Psych sounds addicts; their passionate idea is to bring a complete music reality, also concerned to live performances and visual impact. The path of the Cales takes place through two initial EPs, first chapters of a simple but already close-knit alchemy. Dozens of gigs in North West Italy bring the Cales to the self-production of two Albums, dated respectively 2013 and 2015; here the typical sound of the band comes to light, distinguished by straddling lush Hammond, vocal harmonisations, a protagonist bass guitar and jangle guitars. The upcoming third album, “Haapsalu”, features the new line up, completely renewed in 2017: Andy is the only original member left, as well as the main mind of this third chapter of the band coming out on October 19th, 2018 for Volcano Records. ‘Spellbound’, il nuovo, attesissimo album dei Sadist, veterani della scena Progressive Death Metal europea che tornano dunque con l’ottavo lavoro in studio. Il filo conduttore di questo nuovo lavoro è la filmografia del maestro indiscusso del brivido Alfred Hitchcock. Ogni traccia ripercorre infatti la trama di un film, tinteggiandola ovviamente di “nuances’ tipicamente Sadist, da ‘Frenzy’ a ‘Notorius’, passando per ‘The Birds’ e naturalmente per l’indimenticabile ‘Psycho’. ‘Spellbound’ è un’opera matura, un album solido ed aggressivo (sicuramente il più estremo della band ad oggi) ma sempre con gli immancabili richiami Prog/Death che hanno reso noto ed apprezzato in tutto il mondo il marchio Sadist.

RUN CHICKEN RUN band is born in October 2014. After several adjustments the group reaches the final formation consisting of: Michele Montesi on vocals and guitar, Leonardo Piccioni on guitar, Paolo Scarabotti on bass and Mirko Santacroce on drums. From the first meetings of the band the style was clear: Hard Rock. A hard Rock with blues nuances completely new. In the summer of 2016 he released his first album entitled “Open the grill”. Recorded in the Pink House studio, it is published by RaRa Records, a label that even if it does not deal with Rock music after listening to the songs has decided to expand its channels to this genre. In 2018 the collaboration with the Brothel of Sound Agency begins and in April of the same year Run Chicken Run are the special guest of the Saxons of Oliver / Dawson. The following month the band was supposed to be the special guest of the Phil Rudd’s band (ex AC / DC drummer). Unfortunately, the international artist’s tour was canceled due to passport problems.

INJURY was born on September 2008, from the collaboration of four musicians from their local metal scene, with several live acts performed. Injury’s music combines the immediacy of the “anthems” of the genre with the constant research of last modern productions sound. On the Spring of 2010, ready with the release of their demo, Injury starts their live activity. On the fall of 2010 the band signs the deal with Punishment 18 Records that will lead to the release of their debut album “Unleash the violence” on April 2011. During this time, the band increased its live presence, supporting bands like Lazarus AD, Bonded By Blood and Suicidal Angels. On December 2013 Injury reach an agreement with US label Ferocious Records. The deal allows the release of second album, called “DominHate”, on March 2014. During the promo activity for DominHate, the band shares stages with Sepultura, Death Angel, Dew Scented, The Crown and Extrema. Keeping the costant goal of personal sound, Injury starts on October 2017 the recording sessions for the new EP, called “Wreckage”

I Necandi Homines non sono una band black metal come tante e questo é un qualcosa che é stato ben chiaro sin da subito, da quando Third I Rex e Toten Schwan Records han iniziato a spargere la voce a riguardo dell’EP “Black Hole”.
Il loro suono unico ed il misto di psichedelia malata e black metal é stato pronunciato come l’anello mancante tra Dolorian e Woods Of Infinity e sino ad ora i feedback han confermato questo mix.
Il loro nuovo cortometraggio é stato creato come video perfetto per rappresentare il loro nuovo lavoro ed il concept alle sue spalle.
Il salto nel vuoto, la ricerca dell’assoluto vuoto esistenziale, son entrambe concetti che traspirano da quest’incredibile viaggio visivo.

RED RIOT was founded by Lexy Riot (bass), JJ Riot (guitar) and Berry (drums). They find Max Power (guitar) and O’zy Jack (vocals) who was replaced by Fred Riot one year later. In June 2016 they release their EP “Fight” for Volcano Records and Promotion. After a while Scar replaces Berry on drums and in April 2017, after playing with bands like Hangarvain, Giacomo Voli and Teodasia, DGM and Heimdall, they start the Fight In Europe Tour, an European minitour in 10 different country. In April 2018 they play on the stage of the Agglutination Warm Up together with other bands, including Flotsam and Jetsam.

Biografia breve:
Bölthorn è un progetto Death/Viking Metal, creato da Ivan/Ironcross (Dust, Dream’s Echo, Ironcross Project). Il gruppo nasce con l’idea di un grande progetto da portare avanti inizialmente in studio.
Rob (Angerfish) con la sua creatività e Drake (Ný Mynd) con i suoi testi si trovano subito in sintonia con la direzione voluta intraprendere da Ironcross. L’affinità dei tre membri è immediata e ciò che ne risulta è un suono potente, massiccio e melodico.
Nel 2018 hanno registrato il loro primo lavoro presso l’AUDIOCORE studio di Fontevivo (PR) ma questo non gli basta e sono già al lavoro per comporre nuovo materiale.
