Come sempre i Vanexa scrivono un brano con una tematica sociale. Con il loro nuovo brano “My Grave” trattano un tema molto delicato: la violenza domestica. Troppo spesso le mure di casa diventano “La mia Tomba” (My Grave), dove proprio colui che dovrebbe proteggerti diventa l’aguzzino. Il protagonista adolescente, a causa dei costanti abusi subiti, si rifugia nel suo mondo come fosse un videogioco.
Incapace di ribellarsi e non osando intervenire rinuncia all’occasione di diventare come il suo eroe preferito. Ciò che non abbiamo osato, lo abbiamo per sempre perduto.

Their new single “My Grave” deals with the delicate subject of domestic violence. The grave can often consist in house walls, between which women suffer episodes of violence while children are unaware witnesses. The protagonist are therefore those kids who, despite having suspects of violence, are afraid to act losing the chance to be the hero just like in their favorite videogame. What we don’t dare to do is forever lost.
We premiered our OFFICIAL VIDEO of the song “CHACINA” to close the works with this track that was made available on our YouTube channel and released by the recorded Machine Man Records (USA).
As previously announced, “CHACINA” is the preview of our new work that comes from there, we are at full steam and we promise many new things during this year of 2019.

“Storing the Past” è il nuovo singolo e videoclip di Marco Germani che anticipa l’album “Regression”, in uscita verso autunno 2019 per After Life Music Dimension. Il disco spazierà tra generi come l’elettronica, l’industrial, il metal e avrà punti in comune con artisti come Nine Inch Nails. Ulteriori dettagli saranno svelati a breve.
La regia e il montaggio sono di Elisa Collimedaglia. Nel video compaiono i membri della band dello stesso Germani, ossia i Limbo Neutrale. Costoro sono sovrapposti a discorsi di famosi personaggi americani (Charles Manson, Steve Jobs, Martin Luther King , John F. Kenndy, Michelle Obama, Donald Trump).
Il protagonista del videoclip è un uomo del futuro (o un alieno?) che lavora archiviando e testando macchine vintage come il Commodore 64, un registratore a bobine TEAC, un cellulare Motorola, floppy disk e minidisk. Egli poi si spaventa ripetutamente per quello vede nei monitor a tubo catodico.
Di ispirazione electro-industrial non mancano alcune parti di chitarra martellanti tipiche del metal. Il brano è interamente realizzato dall’artista in tutte le sue parti e prodotto dalla sua etichetta discografica indipendente After Life Music Dimension di Vigevano, Pavia.

Dopo una settimana in cui i fan hanno potuto votare (per finta) il titolo del nuovo album, i DESTRAGE annunciano oggi la release di “The Chosen One”, previsto in arrivo il 24 maggio 2019 su Metal Blade Records.
Per anticiparne l’uscita la band ha reso disponibile il video della title-track “The Chosen One”.
Presenti alcuni ospiti per “The Chosen One” tra cui il “master of evil” Luca Mai degli ZU che ha contribuito con un assolo di sax al brano “Mr Bugman” e suonando il riff portante di “At The Cost Of Pleasure”. Le tastiere sono state eseguite dal jazzista Fabio Visocchi per i brani “At The Cost Of Pleasure” e “The Gifted One” mentre le parti di elettronica sono state curate da Fabrizio “Izio” Pagni.
“The Chosen One” è stato prodotto dalla band stessa e da Matteo “ciube” Tabacco presso i Raptor Studios di Vicenza. Le fasi di mix e master sono state curate da Josh WIlbur (Megadeth, Korn, Gojira, Lamb Of God e molti altri).

As with all of their previous efforts, Destrage make it impossible to pigeonhole their sound, with numerous labels applicable to the record but no single one able to tell the whole story. Moreover, from start to finish, The Chosen One seethes with an energy that is undeniable. “I strongly believe in the power of the people, and energy came from those who worked on this album, from the band, the producers, through to the mixing and mastering engineer. There was a lot of energy in the whole project, and that’s the most important thing to me,” vocalist Paolo Colavolpe enthuses. The record also sees the band once more experimenting, taking risks and exploring territory they have not previously entered into, demonstrating a fearlessness when it came to chasing ideas – and almost half the songs are in a completely different guitar tuning. A pair of unique tracks also bookend the record, the title track and “The Gifted One”, their relationship obvious as they came together in the writing stage. Explains guitarist Matteo Di Gioia: “The song ‘The Chosen One’ is brief, has no repetitions and an unresolved structure. The unexplored, unrepeated sections of that unwrap with more patience on ‘The Gifted One’, which also has an uncommon structure, but in the opposite sense. Here we have a long, pacing, reflexive closing song that shares many elements with the opener but feels completely different.” Further adding to the heady mix is the incorporation of extra instrumentation, among these a baritone saxophone and something the band nicknamed MEGATRON, which is essentially “a badass synthesizer playing guitar riffs together with the human guitarists. Like the saxophone, it’s set to disappear and fuse with the guitars to achieve a slightly unreal sound, and we knew we didn’t want these extra sounds to emerge and be obvious. Instead, we really looked for the listener to experience the ‘What the fuck is that sound?’ effect.”

Italian progressive, avant-garde metal group Signs Of Human Racehave released a new online single and lyrics video from their forthcoming album Inner Struggle Of Self-Acceptance.
Here’s what the band had to say; “Journey Into Self-Reflection is the third track from the album Inner Struggle Of Self-Acceptance by Signs Of Human Race. The track aims to recreate the thoughts and feelings of a person affected by personality disorders. People suffering from such diseases often know of their situation and feel vulnerable and in need of help, but they also look with suspicion to other people trying to support them, seeing treachery everywhere.”
This condition can lead to alternating feelings of distress, peacefulness and rage, emphasized by the band through the sudden changes of rhythm and mood.

Italian death metal tyrants DYING AWKWARD ANGEL have posted a new music video for “Isaiah 53:7” off their latest full length “Absence of Light” released May 2018 via Extreme Metal Music / Rockshots Records.
Initially formed two decades ago in Turin, Italy, DYING AWKWARD ANGEL is a total testament to the strength and convictions of true metallers. Enduring line-up changes and travails that would have crushed a lesser band, DYING AWKWARD ANGEL refused to die…instead they have thrived!
Inspired by In Flames, At The Gates, Carcass, Dark Tranquillity, in 2013, DYING AWKWARD ANGEL unleashed their debut full-length album ‘Waiting For Punishment’, following it in 2016 with a well-received EP entitled ‘Madness Rising’. Then in 2018, the band’s current line up with founding member Edoardo Demuro on guitar, Luca Pellegrino on drums, Lorenzo Asselli on guitars, Davide Onida on bass and Michele Spallieri on vocals released their next full length “Absence of Light”.

Il BANCO DEL MUTUO SOCCORSO, la leggendaria progressive rock band italiana, ha recentemente annunciato la firma con Inside Out Music / Sony Music group.
Il nuovo album “Transiberiana” sarà pubblicato il 26 aprile 2019 e sarà il primo album di inediti in 25 anni.
Oggi la band presenta il tanto atteso primo singolo, “I ruderi del gulag”, un brano sofisticato e concettuale composto da Vittorio Nocenzi e il figlio Michelangelo Nocenzi. I testi sono stati curati dallo stesso Vittorio con l’ausilio di Paolo Logli, scrittore e sceneggiatore molto vicino al Banco sin dagli anni 70.
“I ruderi del gulag” racconta di un incontro tra persone che stanno facendo un viaggio verso la meraviglia e lo stupore, con l’animo aperto ad accogliere le diversità, e trovano invece un luogo dove la diversità è stata repressa e perseguitata come pericolosa e contraria

L’ultimo album del Banco del Mutuo Soccorso “13” risale al 1994. Dopo tutti questi anni e dopo la perdita di due membri fondatori il Banco è tornato per confermare la propria importanza nel panorama progressive internazionale.
Il Banco del Mutuo Soccorso è nato a Roma nel 1969 e grazie all’influenza di band inglesi del calibro di Gentle Giant, Genesis, Jethro Tull ed Emerson, Lake & Palmer è stato in grado di forgiare il suo caratteristico sound, complesso e dinamico allo stesso tempo. “Transiberiana” non è solo il nuovo album del Banco del Mutuo Soccorso ma il riflesso di tutta la carriera e di ciò che è la band al giorno d’oggi.

Aether Void is an Italian heavy metal band formed in Modena (IT) in November 2017 from the ashes of No Way Out, which split up after releasing an EP and a Single.Three of the former members, Alberto Lugari (Drums), Davide Brusini (Bass) and Erik Marzocchini (Guitar) decided to continue playing and composing together, so they built up a new musical project. The line up was completed some months later, when two new members joined the group: Salvatore Thore De Matteo, vocals (ex Savior From Anger and ex Gorgeous) and Nicola Bondioli, lead guitar (ex Demolition Saint and Blood Of Seklusion). The new line up soon began composing and recording new stuff under the name Aether Void. The sound of the new songs was more powerful and aggressive, with influences from both classic and modern heavy metal (Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Iced Earth). In October 2018 Aether Void completed the recording of their first studio album Curse Of Life at Art Distillery Studios in Modena. The album will be released in early 2019 by Revalve Records.

Sludge and doom post-black metal unit, JOHN, THE VOID, are set to release their sophomore new beast of an apocalyptic album, III – Adversa, on April 5th with Argonauta Records. The band is sharing a first glimpse into their second full-length: ‘Silent Bearer’.
„The first single, “Silent Bearer” is about a soundless sacrifice, from a person that silently separates from another who doesn’t love him back any more, and says nothing to not let her feel guilty about his pain and her unrequited love.“ The band explains. „The track talks about the long journey through the seasons, day and night, of the person that silently walks and struggle to keep the secret to himself, as the last act of love for the other person and his happiness.“

“Along The Sacred Path” is the band’s sophomore album and follows their 2016 debut full length “Behold The Mankind”, which was a concept release about the history of humanity from the point of view of Christian theology. That album was produced by Cristiano Bertocchi (Labyrinth, Vision Divine, Wind Rose) with mastering done by Simone Mularoni (Domination Studios). Received well by critics and audiences, the debut opened doors for the band to tour across Italy and abroad, including a performance at the latest edition of “Elements Of Rock” (Switzerland), the largest Christian metal festival in Europe.

“‘Along The Sacred Path’ is a concept album that traces the history of Christianity, continuing the narrative from “Behold The Mankind”. The story is told through the life of some key figures that are not always considered positive by everyone. Exhibiting their elegant and gloomy music around the world, Palma, Spain’s melancholic doom outfit HELEVORN have posted their new lyric video “Aurora”. The video is in support of their fourth album “Aamamata” released this past January via Solitude Productions / Bad Moon Music.
Vocalist Josep Brunet explains the track:
“This song is about an extraordinary woman who fought for the civil rights of the working class and was murdered during the fascist military coup in 1936-37 in Spain. She was only 25 years old and her body has still not been found.”
“Aamamata” follows their 2014 album “Compassion Forlorn”, 2009’s “Forthcoming Displeasures” and 2005 debut full length “Fragments, which have anchored HELEVORN’s place in the global doom scene.
The band adds:
“We think that fans will love the new album. We know that we are not discovering something new, we are creating 90’s goth-doom metal in present times. It should be received like a piece to reborn the scene and for the music to relate on the decadence of humankind through the drama of the refugees that are dying and trying to escape from the hell that the Western countries have put them in.”

The band consists of Sara Lindberg on Vocals, Patrik Andersson on Guitar, Emil Mickols on drums & Percussion and Erik Arkö on Bass. The influences range from such bands as Led Zeppelin, Audioslave and The Hellacopters to Freak Kitchen, King Crimson and The Winery Dogs.

E’ uscito “Streets Of Poison”, singolo e video del cantante e fondatore della band indie/punk/hard rock Dancing Scrap, Ronnie Abeille.
Il brano, presto disponibile in tutto il mondo su tutte le piattaforme digitali, anticipa il primo album solista “Hell Or Nothing”, la cui uscita è prevista nel 2019 con la produzione di Agoge Records.
L’album sarà caratterizzato da sonorità industrial-gothic-dance e vedrà la partecipazione di Kory Clarke della band americana punk-hard rock Warrior Soul.
